Teaching Art through the lens of Cartooning.
I began this site several years ago to showcase what I was learning in graduate school, as I worked through the Teacher Credential and Masters Program at National University. I developed the term "CaptivArting" which combines the words "Captivating" and "Art." I first started creating video content to teach students who were missed classes due to illness or extended vacation, as well as those want to review what they may not have gotten a good grasp of during the live-lecture on any given day.

The Youtube channel, @CaptivArting is for both students and teachers of Visual Arts. My hope is to make a community to share ideas for education, making it easy for students to learn on-line.

This site is sort of a catch-all site for lessons I have either learned and taught, or those I discovered by constant research of new ways to deliver Art and Technology content for teachers and students.
